Shopping, Entertainment & More in support of the Relay For Life of Second Life

The 7th Annual SL Christmas Expo opens Friday December 1st and will run through Sunday, December 10th.  

 

More than 70 merchants spread out over 4 regions will offer shopping for Fashion, Home & Garden, Breedables and more. Forty-five live performances, DJ & Live Radio shows, Dance Troupes and Tribute shows will provide nearly 70 hours of entertainment to shoppers.  Gotyas, raffles and contests will round out this year’s offerings at SL’s Premier Holiday shopping event.

 

The theme is “HOLIDAY WINDOWS” and merchants will be decorating their shoppe windows as part of the Holiday Window Contest.  There will be sleigh rides, ice skating, a Christmas tree lot and a Snowman building contest.

 

The Expo, which is sponsored by Athena Couture, Battlebeast Breedables, Botanica, Ever An’ Angel, T1Radio and WHIP Radio supports the American Cancer Society and the Relay For Life of Second Life and will conclude with the 8th Annual Holidays of Hope Gala Ball, Sunday December 10th 2-7pm .

The Last Train

When the time came to say goodbye there was a tug at the heart strings and a tear in my eye. The last train was pulling into the station and within minutes I would be gone. Each moment apart; from now until we meet again...endless and unbearable.  

For a journey like this I wanted to feel warm and comfortable. So I put on this warm sweater coat and corduroy pants that look stylish and practical but casual and trendy...all from my Ghee collection. 

 

An extra long open cardigan with long sleeves and banded pattern to the lower part fits snuggly over some double belted corduroy jeans that are almost high waist. A little cropped t-shirt finishes the look.

Designer Showcase presents a collection of designs and exclusives from a multitude of designers and fashion boutiques. The Event runs each month from the 5th - 30th. With something new from a myriad of designers there is something to suit all tastes. Come and treat yourself.
